My audience of twenty 16-18 year olds said that most of the names I listed would suit thriller films, and movies they would be interested in seeing. I tried to choose short names as this creates more of an impact by being sharper. My audience would hear or see the name and automatically be interested in it. I also chose words that would cause the average person to think about what the word means and how it would relate to a film. This creates interest in the film.
However, "Delirium" recieved the highest vote and therefore I shall use this name. The definition of the word "Delirium" is:
"1. Pathology. a more or less temporary disorder of the mental faculties, as in fevers, disturbances of consciousness, or intoxication, characterized by restlessness, excitement, delusions, hallucinations, etc.
2. a state of violent excitement or emotion.".
I think this suits the plot of my story as the main protagonist was so disturbed and affected by the fight he had with Nathan, his mind had completely blanked the murder he was about to commit, and after the murder, his mind (still disturbed) wiped the memory from his mind, and created the mysterious man as an explanation to his friends death.
